BreastScreen Waitematā Northland is part of BreastScreen Aotearoa, the national breast screening programme for women aged 45 - 69 years. The aim of this programme is to reduce the number of women dying from Breast Cancer by offering FREE screening mammograms (and follow-up assessments if necessary) to eligible women every 2 years.
