Anxiety New Zealand Trust provides a free & confidential Anxiety Helpline 0800 ANXIETY (O800 269 4389); giving vital support to people of any age who experience all forms of anxiety.If you're feeling anxious and would like to talk to someone about anxiety or would like to seek advice for a friend or family member you can phone their free 24/7 Anxiety Helpline wherever you are in Aotearoa. Anxiety New Zealand Trust specialises in the treatment, support and education of anxiety disorders and depression in children, adolescents and adults and also provides free peer support groups. 1:1 therapy may incur full costs.

Aoake te Rā is a brief therapeutic support service funded by the Ministry of Health. They provide support and manaaki to individuals, whānau and communities who have lost someone to suicide. Aoake te Rā is:• Free• Available to all ages and at any stage after bereavement• Available for individuals, couple or whanau groups. They offer face to face, online and phone services.

If you give your identity and contact information, they do not:• Share it with any third party without your consent• Use it for anything except providing services to you.With your permission, they may refer you to your local family or sexual violence service provider.

Asian Family Services (AFS) provides:• Asian Helpline: nationwide free and confidential support to Asians living in New Zealand. Monday - Friday 9am-8pm • Counselling: including over the phone counselling or via video calls, text or online messaging. Monday- Friday 9am-5pmTheir services are offered in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai and Hindi. An interpreter can be arranged for other languages.

CanTeen supports rangatahi aged 13-24 impacted by cancer across Aotearoa, whether it's their own diagnosis or that of a family member. CanTeen provides individual support and therapy, peer-to-peer support, and access to 24/7 online support through CanTeen Connect.

All victims of crime have rights about how they are treated and the information they can receive. You can talk to someone on the 24/7 Victims Information Line on 0800 650 654 about what you can expect.  A Victim Advisor is employed in the court to provide information to victims of criminal offences and to support them with their cases through the court.

Family Drug Support Aotearoa is a New Zealand wide organisation set up to support family/whānau & friends impacted by the alcohol and other drug use of people they care about. They provide support via their:• Free helpline 0800 337 877• Website which has a lot of resources/information and webinars• 5-Step Family/Whanau Programme (low cost) – this is available from anywhere in New Zealand via Telehealth (Zoom). It is an individual counselling programme.

Grow does not provide professional counselling services but they do provide mutual help from people who have experienced mental health episode in their life and have found the Grow programme to be incredibly useful.

HUGS is Helping Understand Grief of Suicide and provides family support after the trauma of suicide. They are there to offer support to families as they have all been or are going through the grief associated with losing someone to suicide. Please get in touch if you need support.

I AM HOPE aims to promote positive attitudinal societal change around mental health throughout New Zealand, and fund private care and counselling for young people stuck-in-the-mud on waiting lists. They offer hope and a voice to young people in Aotearoa through various projects (including school tours, practical courses such as a barber and barista course), allowing people to share their own journeys through their podcast series 'HopeCast' and much more.Gumboot Friday Counselling services are free to anyone aged 5 - 25 in Aotearoa.

Jigsaw North's trained and experienced counsellors work with children, young people and families to provide counselling and family therapy. Their focus is on improving the lives of tamariki and this can be through providing counselling for the children, parents or caregivers or the whole family.

Lifeline Aotearoa telephone counselling service provides 24 hours a day, 7 days a week counselling and support.

0508 TAUTOKO is Lifeline Aotearoa's free nationwide suicide helpline.
