• Are you feeling stressed or just need someone to talk to?• Are you feeling down or a bit overwhelmed?• Do you know someone who is feeling out-of-sorts or down?Whatever it is, 1737 are there. ‘1737, need to talk?’ is New Zealand’s national mental health & addictions helpline number. Free call or free text 1737 any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to talk to (or text with) a trained counsellor or you can talk to a peer support worker. Their service is completely free.

Overview
A Girl Called Hope provide a range of holistic wellbeing programmes and courses to strengthen the resilience, self-esteem and wellbeing of young women, motivated for change. Online and in-person courses are available to anyone 16yrs+. Their courses are embedded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and informed by other evidence-based theories and practices such as DBT, strengths-based and solutions-focussed practice. Their courses are not suitable for anyone who is currently in acute crisis, experiencing psychotic symptoms or those with addictions where their symptoms are not under control.

Te Roopu Whitiora is a specialist Kaupapa Māori service for Māori, between the ages of 18 to 65 years, who are experiencing symptoms suggestive of psychosis or schizophrenia. They are culturally and clinically responsive to the needs of Whaiora and their Whānau through the stages of their journey. Early Psychosis Intervention Service

The Early Psychosis Intervention Service provides support and treatment to people between the ages of 13 and 35 who are experiencing a “first psychotic episode” and who live in the Northland area. Their objective is to provide a service to people who experience acute mental illness and to assist them with maintaining mental wellness.
