AphasiaNZ provides support services, resources, and information to people who have acquired aphasia after a stroke, head injury, or disease of the brain. Currently, there is no Community Aphasia Advisor service in Northland, but they have telephone and Zoom support available, which includes support groups and assistance to improve conversational success for families affected by aphasia.
