Breast Cancer Support Northland Trust provide a practical and emotional support service for those residents in Northland who are experiencing a Breast Cancer diagnosis. When ladies are first diagnosed one of their specially trained volunteers will contact them and support them through their journey. Their volunteer support people are women who have been through the Breast Cancer journey. Their support can be practical such as a $200 financial payment, frozen meals, knitted knockers and support coffee mornings.

BreastScreen Waitematā Northland is part of BreastScreen Aotearoa, the national breast screening programme for women aged 45 - 69 years.
