Headspace is a digital service that provides guided meditation sessions and mindfulness training. Its content can be accessed online, or via their mobile apps. Headspace is a community resource. It is aimed at providing good information about mental health and illness for young people, their family/whanau, and their schools. HBC Community House is located on the Western Reserve in Orewa. Services offered include venue hire, courses, Foodbank and other support to families in crisis, Community Shop, volunteer programme, car seat rental, jigsaw lending library, community worker placements. The Community House also runs Breakfast in Schools at two local primary schools and funds the local safe house. Support for other organisations through our community shop happens once a month.
